How to Make Time For Reading in a Busy Schedule

How To

Everyone gets stressed out sometimes. When what you love (such as reading) has to suffer because of your all too busy schedule, life can get depressing, and aggravating. The sad truth is that sometimes there just aren’t enough hours in the day. Especially when I am in a transition (going into high school, new job, etc.) It can be hard to balance everything.

Time Management is really important. I love using a planner. If I don’t write my homework down, then I most likely won’t remember it. I also like to give myself a time limit on how long things should take me. The more efficiently you handle your time, the more reading you will be able to do.

I like to read before I go to sleep, but have to have a lot of self discipline because I could sit there for hours, but would suffer the next day. I can’t read when their is a lot of noise, and I get carsick in the car, so these environments don’t work for me, but may for you.

Try to find times that work for you. Even in the busy schedules of everyday life, it is important to take time to relax, and take a break.
